Bright crystalline, golden with greenish golden nuances.
Bouquet characteristic, with notes of dried and candied fruits, exotic spices and smoked resinous woods, cedar.
Medium-dry, fresh, vibrant, but smooth and very saline. Rich and long finish, leaving fresh notes of dried fruits macerated in cognac and spices.
Service & Cellarage
Blandy’s 40 years old Verdelho is fined and does not require decanting. It is excellent served slightly chilled as an aperitif but is also exceedingly good with soups, oysters, feathered game and patês.
It has been bottled ready for drinking and will keep for several months after opening.
