Description

Tasting Notes

Clear and bright in appearance, this wine presents a deep coppery-brown hue with golden nuances and distinctive greenish glints. The nose is highly characteristic and complex, revealing an austere yet intensely concentrated bouquet of dried fruits, spices, and exotic woods. These are layered with balsamic notes, camphor, and subtle hints of cedar reminiscent of a cigar box, all underpinned by the richness of aged brandy. On the palate, an initial impression of sweetness gives way to a robust and warming character. The wine is both exuberant and intense, leading to a remarkably long, fresh finish—strikingly saline with lingering notes of dried fruits and exotic spices, including saffron and curry.

SERVING & CELLARAGE

This wine should be stored upright in a cool, dark place with a constant temperature, ideally not exceeding 16°C.

As the wine is fully stabilised, we recommend drawing the cork at least 24 hours before serving to allow it to breathe. Decanting is also advised to remove any natural sediment that may have formed in the bottle over time.

Best enjoyed in the company of friends, this wine should be served at a temperature no higher than 17°C. It has been bottled ready for immediate enjoyment and will remain in excellent condition for several months after opening.
